Hair Products

A few years ago, I was struggling. I have lots of hair, it was unhealthy, and I needed HELP. Ever been there before? I have linked all the products I started using to get my hair healthy again.

1. Heat Protectant- There are different ones out there, but I went for one that was affordable, effective, and smells good. Really test the ones out there to find your perfect fit, but this one is what I finally discovered worked the best for me.

2 Clarifying Shampoo- During my trip to Europe, my hair started showing major signs of buildup. I wasn't sure why it decided to do it during the trip, but when I got back to the states, I messaged my hair girl and she told me to go out and buy a clarifying shampoo. This is the shampoo she recommended.

3. Wet Brush- I was experiencing a LOT of dead ends and breakage. I started using a wet brush to minimize the stress I was putting on my hair. It has helped my hair so much, and it definitely helps that I don't feel like I'm ripping my hair out when I'm brushing it. This is a great one, but I see them at Ross and TJ Maxx all the time.

4. Scrunchies- So scrunchies are making a HUGE comeback. They're so cute, and they don't pull your hair real bad like normal pony tail holders do. I have super thick hair, so I am really picky about what scrunchies I use. I need major support to keep all my hair up. These aren't the exact ones I use, but they are really good quality.

5. Silk Pillow Case- Sleeping on a quality pillow case is a must if you want to reduce the amount of broken hairs you have. This one is a super cute leopard print in a gorgeous champagne color. It is also vegan. Here is a white one if you don't want a printed pillow case.

Here are a few other things I did to help keep my hair healthy.
  • Stopped using products that contain parabens and sulfates.
  • Began getting regular trims to get rid of dead ends.
  • Stopped styling my hair with heat very often
